Ways to Give
Giving starts with membership. Already a member? There are even more ways you can help the American River Conservancy preserve rivers and land for life.
Make a cash contribution. You can support Conservancy operations or help fund a specific project with a one-time contribution or ongoing support.
Make a contribution of goods or services. We can use donations of goods such as snack bars and office supplies and more, along with services like handyman and electrician to maintain the Nature Center. Wish lists are published quarterly in the Current. For current needs, please call 530-621-1224.
Donate a vehicle. We accept donations of autos, boats, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, jet skis, snowmobiles, planes and real estate in all areas of the United States, through DonationLine.com. This includes non-running, junk and salvage cars.
Contribute through your workplace. Check with your workplace giving coordinator to see if your company is part of the workplace giving campaign administered by EarthShare California, the CFC and United Way. ARC's I.D. number for the: Combined Federal Campaign - #87817
If your workplace is not a member of EarthShare, you can schedule an automatic recurring donation on your payroll day.
Search and shop online using GoodSearch. When you use GoodSearch as your search engine and designate the American River Conservancy as your cause, each search and each purchase made with your starting point at GoodSearch will help ARC financially. Shop online with iGive. Shop at over 800 stores including Amazon.com, eBay, Target, Home Depot, and Best Buy, and a portion of your purchase will be donated to the Conservancy. Just click the iGive.com logo below to register.
Donate stocks, bonds, mutual funds or other public traded securities and realize a tax savings while supporting the Conservancy's work. Call the development director, Noel Robinson, at 530-621-1224 for more information.
Give a gift of land. Your natural open space or ecologically sensitive land could be a match for ARC's conservation efforts. If the property you gift has conservation value, you can receive a generous tax deduction for its fair market value while protecting the land's natural beauty forever. Recommend a charitable grant. Fidelity customers can recommend a grant be made to American River Conservancy by the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund. Recommendations may be made online, by phone, or by submitting a completed Grant Recommendation Form. Grant recommendations are not binding, and are subject to review and approval by the Trustees in their sole discretion.
