Work Day at Wakamatsu

Tuesday, May 8th from 9am-1pm.  In May as the sun rises earlier and so does the temperature, we are shifting our workday times an our earlier to 9am-1pm. The Giving Garden is a part of the historic Wakamatsu farm where volunteers assist in seasonal plantings, weed management, mulch application, fruit tree pruning, crop and orchard fertilizing, seed germination, plant propagation as well as fruit and veggie harvesting. Spivey Pond Restoration Work Day

Join ARC stewardship staff at Spivey Pond for a day of restoration! Wednesday, May 16th from 9am-1pm  We will be focusing on invasive plant removal (some Himalayan blackberry bushes) and native grass, sedge and forb planting to enhance red-legged frog habitat and lower erosion potential. Come enjoy a beautiful day by the water as we restore this area. Responsible teens+ welcome. Acorn Creek Trail Work Day

Join the American River Conservancy at Acorn Creek near Salmon Falls Ranch for a day of trail work as we continue to smooth out and maintain the trail. Wednesday, May 23rd from 9am-1pm with breaks for lunch, snacks and water. Please bring a pair of work/garden gloves, a full water bottle and your lunch.
