Giving Garden Workday – December 12th

Tuesday, December 12th from 10am - 2pm. The Giving Garden is a part of the historic Wakamatsu farm where volunteers assist in seasonal plantings, weed management, mulch application, fruit tree pruning, crop and orchard fertilizing, seed germination, plant propagation as well as fruit and veggie harvesting. During the winter we aim to plant cover crops to protect our precious soils from wind and rain erosion. Magnolia Ranch hike

Saturday, December 16th 10am-1pm Named for the small long-gone village of Magnolia that once resided along Greenwood Creek, this beautiful riparian prairie now offers easy hiking trails along the river and around its hills. Donna Orth will lead this dogs and kid-friendly 3-mile hike to the river and back. Contact ARC to sign up and for meeting location (Pilot Hill area).
