Magnolia Ranch hike

Saturday, December 16th 10am-1pm Named for the small long-gone village of Magnolia that once resided along Greenwood Creek, this beautiful riparian prairie now offers easy hiking trails along the river and around its hills. Donna Orth will lead this dogs and kid-friendly 3-mile hike to the river and back. Contact ARC to sign up and for meeting location (Pilot Hill area). Timeless Traditions of Native Storytelling

Saturday, January 6th 6-7pm Kimberly ShiningStar will share an evening engaging the imagination in the ageless art of traditional storytelling. Prepare to leave with a better understanding of indigenous culture that can only be experienced in the presence of traditional culture keepers. All ages welcome (must sit quietly for 1-hour). Pine Needle Basket Class

Saturday, February 10th 9am – 4 pm Come learn the technique of coiling and how to start a basket out of pine needles in this one-day workshop led by basket-maker and ARC member, Nettie Fox.  This class is appropriate for all levels, beginning through advanced.  All materials will be provided and space is limited.
